St. Charles Community College is a public, comprehensive two-year community college with associate degrees and certificate programs in the arts, business, sciences and career-technical fields. Step 1: Apply for admission to SCC. You may apply for admission anytime during the year. For additional assistance, call 636-922-8226.

Step 2: Consider your options for financial assistance and scholarships. Browse the links under the Paying for College header in the left column. Apply early at fafsa.gov.

Step 3: Take the Academic Skills Assessment. Contact the Assessment Center with any questions ahead of time, but no appointment is necessary for the assessment. Following the assessment, complete the Smart Start orientation online.

Step 4: You're ready to register. Advisors meet with students for registration by appointment Monday-Friday. To schedule an appointment, visit www.stchas.edu/appointment. Before your meeting, view the catalog, credit course descriptions, credit class schedule, academic calendar and SCC's range of degrees and certificates offered (under the Academics header in the left column).

Step 5: Pay your tuition and fees in full according to the current academic calendar to avoid being dropped from all of your courses.
